Is there a minimum rental period?

One month is the minimum rental term, but each contract renews automatically on a monthly basis. We offer incentives for long-term contracts.

How much does a unit cost?

The cost of a storage unit depends on whether the unit is climate or non-climate and the size of the unit.

Are there any extra fees?

A $25 security deposit is charged at the time of move-in, but it is refundable upon move out and manager's inspection of your unit.

What kind of lock do I need?

EZ Storage suggests a round padlock, but any type of pad lock can be used. You can choose to purchase a lock from EZ Storage or provide your own lock.

What do I need to provide to rent a unit?

A current driver's license and picture ID, mailing address, and working phone number is required to rent a unit.

How can I pay my rent?

You can pay your rent with check, cash, or money order. EZ Storage also accepts Visa, Mastercard, and Discover. You can bring a payment to our office, mail a payment, or call in your credit card information for processing over the phone.

How do I access my unit through the gated entrance?

EZ Storage requires each tenant to have his or her own PIN.

When can I access my unit?

6 am – 10 pm seven days a week

Do you recommend insurance?

Check with your auto or homeowner's policies for coverage pertaining to items stored in self-storage facilities. We do recommend that our customers insure their belongings, but do not require it. It is your responsibility to obtain a policy. We do have brochures and contact information for self storage insurance through an independent agency.

What is a roll up door?

A roll up door is similar to a garage door that rolls upward to the ceiling. It is normally 8 feet in height to ease the burden of moving large, bulky items.

Do you offer moving trucks?

EZ Storage does not have moving trucks or movers available.

Do you have packing supplies?

EZ Storage does not offer packing supplies at this time.

How do I find out what units are available?

Please call EZ Storage at 843-399-5522 for availability of units.

How do I find out when you hold auctions?

Auction notices are posted in the North Myrtle Beach Times. You may also call and ask to be added to our notification list.

How do I cancel my rental contract?

Please notify the EZ Storage office as soon as you move out of your unit. If you move out before the 15th of the month, we will prorate your rent charges for that month. Tenants that move out after the 15th will incur a full month's rent. Failure of notification of move out may result in additional monthly charges.
